Skechers App Redesign
A new modern and interactive Skechers app.
Overview:
This Skechers redesign was a group project that focused in three main areas. First, we wanted to incorporate a new technologies into the design that could be theoretical be used. We focused on AR technology to design what and interface could look like if the Skechers app had and AR shoe try on. Second, we wanted to modernize the app as the current one is looking a little old in certain areas like the homepage and nav bar design. Third, we wanted to highlight their collaborations more as well as their technologies and other products.
Customer Journey
We started by creating a Customer Journey Map to map to help identity pain-points as well understand what already works well. Two major pain points we identity were 1. The foot pain or issue that a person has is with their feet and leading them to Skechers to help solve that issue. 2. When shopping for shoes or clothing it can be hard online to know it will for sure fit compared to going in store.

Low-Fidelity Prototyping
Below are our low-fidelity wireframes we drew for some of the pages we wanted.

Design Solution #1
We wanted to modernize the whole app but especially the home page as the current one looks like and old ad magazine. To the right is the home page we create with a image carousel at the top. A little reminder card about the holiday sale as well as made it more personal to the user adding a for you section.

Design Solution #2
Just how you can use AR on your phone to try out furniture in a room we thought how about applying that technology to shoes allowing the customer to be able to see the shoe's on their feet. This could better determine sizing possibly or just to see what they would look like on their foot.

Design Solution #3
A 360 view of the shoe that the user could interact with would give the user more options on how to view the shoe as well as see all parts of the shoe that maybe photos don’t capture. Also makes for a more engaging experience for the customer.
